JOANNE DAMOURS

Ms. Damours is the President and CEO of Bayesian Systems. A founder and the primary moving force for the company, she has grown the company steadily over the last five years.

Ms. Damours has over 20 years experience as an entrepreneur. She has built two companies from the ground up and purchased a third, turning it into a profitable and successful business. In the years before founding Bayesian Systems Ms Damours studied computer programming, worked as a programmer, systems analyst and finally Program Manager for government contracting companies in the Washington, DC area. She met Dr. Kaplan in 1992 while consulting to the Department of Agriculture on a risk assessment system. The system assessed the probability of infestation in the United States from agents imported on plant and animal products.
